Provision of sulphur solidification services
Reception, pastillation, storage and controlled handling
We manage the entire sulphur recovery cycle, from receipt of the liquid product to its complete stabilisation. Using advanced Rotoform pastillation technology, we transform this material into a safe solid that eliminates the risk of gaseous emissions and facilitates handling.
The process includes protected storage in dedicated warehouses to prevent dust dispersion and strictly controlled logistics to the port of Taranto via watertight vehicles.
Every stage is designed to ensure full compliance with European environmental regulations and actively promote the principles of the circular economy.

We provide concrete support to refineries in achieving the rigorous environmental standards set by Auto-Oil regulations and European emission directives. In the desulphurisation process required to produce low-sulphur fuels, our intervention is essential: we manage the large quantities of liquid sulphur extracted, instantly transforming them into a solid, safe raw material.
This step not only eliminates the risk of sulphur dioxide emissions into the atmosphere and prevents acid rain, but also allows industries to operate in full regulatory compliance, converting a critical refining element into a stable product ready for industrial reuse.
Process & technology
Transformation of liquid sulphur into solid pastilles
The plant layout is designed to ensure maximum operational continuity and safety in by-product treatment. In addition to the solidification systems, the site features advanced storage infrastructure, including two above-ground tanks and one underground tank for liquid sulphur, served by two dedicated loading arms for flow management.
Once transformed into pastilles, the material is kept in a solid sulphur storage facility isolated from the external environment, ensuring zero dispersion. All production activities are regulated by the Single Environmental Authorisation (AUA) No. 811 of 10/01/2020, confirming strict compliance with the technical and regulatory standards required to operate as a strategic partner for large-scale industry.
